Etymology The term dwisula is the Indonesian name for a 2-pronged lance head, and is used as the specific epithet to refer to the deeply bifid or can opener-like blades of the anterior compound falcigers of the species. [details]
Habitat In rocky substrates, and amongst the seagrass Phyllospadix. [details]
Type locality Pacific Ocean, Southern California, La Jolla, off South Casa Reef (geocoordinates nor provided, but estimated with gazetteer to be lat. 32.8434ºN, long. -117.2814ºW). [details]
