Etymology The specific epithet microtentaculata is composed by the Greek prefix micro, meaning 'small', and the Latin adjective tentaculata, feminine form of tentaculatus and meaning 'having tentacles', and refers to the small size of the tentacular cirri of the species. [details]
Habitat Interstitial in intertidal coarse sand rich in detritus. [details]
