Editor's comment Until July 2018 the authority for this name was listed in WoRMS as "Ehlers in Støp-Bowitz, 1948". However in Støp-Bowitz the name is listed on page 9 in a list of Flabelligera species as "Flabelligera idiura Ehlers, 1897. This is clearly a lapsus by Støp-Bowitz for Flabelligera induta Ehlers, 1897. That Ehlers (1835-1925) could have described a species in Støp-Bowitz in 1948 is impossible. It is not known how the error in WoRMS arose. In this case the error did not come from the Hartman catalogue. X in Y authorships in general should be verified in the original context before use.
