Etymology Not stated. The specific epithet minor is a Latin adjective meaning 'lesser', 'inferior' or 'smaller', and presumably refers to the smaller size of the species when compared with other species in the genus. The incomplete holotype is described as having 29 chaetigers, and measuring 5 mm long and 0.3 mm wide, excluding chaetae. [details]
