Depth range 15 fathoms [probably Danish fathoms = 28.2 m]. [details]
Etymology Not stated, but evidently named from the collection location of St Helena island. [details]
Type locality St. Helena Island, Atlantic Ocean, with Jamestown geolocation at -15.9234, -5.7184. There is no harbour as such although Jamestown on the northern coast was a stop-over in the mid-Atlantic for exploring and trading vessels over centuries up to the 19th century. Villalobos-Guerrero et al. (2021) give a different geolocation purportedly for Jamestown, but it is not. They state the depth as 27.1 m [details]
