Etymology The specific epithet chrysosetus is composed by the prefix of Greek origin chryso-, meaning 'gold', and the word setus, form of the Latin noun seta and meaning 'bristle', and refers to the golden capillary chaetae characteristic of the species. [details]
Habitat Mud to muddy sand and sandy mud, in salinities of 27-35 ‰, shallow water in protected areas. [details]
