Diagnosis Large Proceraea, up to 48 mm, one small red spot at base of each parapodial lobe. Trepan teeth large, more than 50 µm. Proventricle with more than 50 rows of muscle-cells. [details]
Distribution North East Pacific, California, Santa Catalina Island. Only known from the type locality. [details]
Etymology The specific epithet refers to the size of the species. [details]
Habitat Among algae, sponges, hydroids on stones and shells. [details]
Type locality North Pacific, USA, California, Channel Islands, Santa Catalina, vicinity of Wrigley Marine Science Center (33º24'N, 118º30'W). [details]
