Identification Hartman 1966 created a new record and brief description of Amphictene crassa for Sydney, NSW, Australia, but according to Hutchings & Peart 2002, this specimen was an instance of their Amphictene favona, thus a misidentification, and A. crassa does not occur in Australia [details]
