New combination The basis of record of the new combination Pherusa xanthotricha was considered in WoRMS to be Ehlers (1908), but in this publication the species is only referred under its original combination, Trophonia xanthotricha (page 119), and under the new combination Stylarioides xanthotrichus (pages 119-121) and its misspelling Stylarioides xanthothrichus (pages 9, 15 and plate XVI and its legend). It is reasonable to think that the new combination Stylarioides xanthotrichus erected in Ehlers (1908) was originally mistakenly recorded in WoRMS as Pherusa xanthotricha, while the combination S. xanthotrichus was missing. In consequence, the reference was deleted from being the basis of record of Pherusa xanthotricha the 2021-07-25, and the combination is now considered to be undocumented. [details]
