Editor's comment This name is probably junior to Spirorbis corrugatus of Montagu according to Knight-Jones, but because there was some uncertainty over the description by Montagu, and also perhaps over the application of Montagu's name due to misinterpretation by Caullery & Mesnil she preferred to continue the 'rupestris' name.
