Type locality Australia, South Australia, in the vicinity of Adelaide (geocoordinates not given, estimated with gazetteer to be approximately lat. -34.5º, long. 137.8º). The subspecies was described with base on three specimens, collected at Port Noarlunga (1), Encounter Bay (1), both south of Adelaide, and Troubridge (1), at the Yorke Peninsula, all from South Australia. The original publication does not refer the designation of a holotype, and it is not clear if it was designated upon deposition of the material, or if all three specimens are to be considered as syntypes.  [details]
