Etymology The species is named after the nickname of M. Soledad Jiménez-Cueto, "a former colleague who sampled and processed the material on which this description is mainly based" (Salazar-Vallejo & Harris, 2006: 140). [details]

Type locality Gulf of Mexico, USA, Florida, off Panama City (29º54'58.6''N, 86º04'58.5''W), coarse sand, at 37 m depth. [details]
