Etymology "This species is named in honour of Dr Victoriano Urgorri ('Vituco'), professor of marine zoology at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), eminent malacologist, leader of the DIVA-Artabria project and friend" (Moreira & Parapar, 2007: 1119). [details]
Habitat Amongst stones and shells, and on Madrepora aculeata, on the continental slope (depths between 760-1191 m). [details]
Type locality Atlantic Ocean, NW Iberian Peninsula, Spain, off Galicia (43º57.03'N, 08º54.79'W to 43º57.25'N, 08º54.13'W), between 1132-1191 m, amongst stones and shells. [details]
