Taxonomy Topsent (1920) mentions this combination as occurring on a label written by Schmidt attached to a sponge in the Strasbourg Museum. Since neither a description nor an illustration was given, this remains a nomen nudum. Lévi (1960) used the name again, in combination with some spicule measurements. Topsent assigned it to Dictyoclathria morisca (=Antho (Antho) morisca). [details]
