Description The genus resembles both Anomastraea and Siderastrea in general appearance. It shows extratentacular budding, unlike Anomastraea, but it does not have the synapticular rings of Siderastrea. The distribution of the genus appears to be the Far East Asia and Australia region, and the western Indian Ocean and Arabian region, but it has so far not been recorded in between.
