Alca torda
Description Gridded abundance map of the razorbill (Alca torda). This product was developed with DIVA (Data-Interpolating Variational Analysis), the map represents log transformed abundance values. The maps shows the seasonal trend of the species, and is using a running average with data of 10 years. The species is an indicator species for Descriptor 1 Marine Bird breeding success of the MSFD for the North East Atlantic. Data was provided by JNCC (Joint Nature Conservation Committee).
