56 species were found; 45 of them were already known, 5 species (Austrophyllum lanceolata, Typosyllis bifida, Nereis macroaciculata, Goniadella falklandica, Jasmineira crumenifera) and 2 subspecies (Harmothoe (Eunoe) spica spicoides, Streblosoma bairdi glamdularis) were new to science. The 45 known species were already recorded from the Antarctic/Subantarctic region; 8 of them are restricted to this region, the others are also known from southern Argentine and southern Chile, few species also from New Zealand or Australia. 2 species have a bipolar distribution, and 7 species are cosmopolitans.
