Description a. Apical system: In contrast to P. globulosum, this species has smaller and more numerous periproctal plates. b. Ambulacral plates: The primary tubercles are smaller than in P. globulosum and the areoles of the interambulacral primary tubercles reach the sutures. The buccal plates are naked.
a. no scale, test diameter 20 mm; b. Scale 2 mm.
