Diagnosis A species of Phymosoma has six columns of imperforate, crenulated primary tubercles on each interambulacral area at the ambitus. Ambulacral plates quadrigeminate below the ambitus, five-geminate at and above the ambitus, six-geminate close to the apical disc. Poriferous zones biserial at the ambitus and upwards, crowded close to the peristome. [details]
