Description
Close-up of primary spines: The upper side of the lower shaft is set with distinct thorns which become smaller distally. The underside is more or less smooth, and the collar has white spots. The older spines are overgrown with encrusting organisms.
Diameter with spines 240 mm; Sydney Harbour, Australia, 14 m deep.
