Diagnosis Test a high trochospiral, chambers numerous, surrounding an axial region of thickened shell material, septa perpendicular to the spiral axis, and oblique to the test axis; wall microgranular in structure, imperforate; aperture consisting of numerous pores in the center of the apertural face, with secondary intercameral foramina about equidistant from the ends of the chambers, appearing along the central solid column as a spiral groove or subcameral tunnel.
