AB  - This short paper describes and figures a number of species of Foraminifera and Ostracoda from material collected on Moctezuma River, in the state of Vera Cruz, Mexico. Eocene deposits were discovered here by Earl Oliver in 1922. A shale characterized by a great abundance of a new Foraminifer of the genus Operculina, and having with it a number of species of other Foraminifera and some ostracods, is present.
