Description Colour brownish-grey. Arms relatively longer, about 40 mm. Oral and aboral disc scales naked, peripherally with some papillae, twice as long as broad, but flattened. Radial shields short, broad, contiguous. Oral shields spearhead-shaped, distal angle blunt, proximal angle acute. Three pairs of oral papillae: the proximal one small, rounded and separated from each other; the second pair triangular, the third pair rectangular. Aboral arm plates twice as broad as long, oval to kidney-shaped, distal edge slightly concave, broadly contiguous. Oral arm plates slightly broader than long, distal edge deeply notched in the midline. Two large tentacle scales. Seven arm spines, the longest barely as long as the arm segment, middle four arm spines broad and flattened near the base (Balinsky, 1957). [details]
