Diagnosis Colonial, massive, plocoid to subcerioid and submeandroid. Budding intracalicinal. Calices distinct or arranged in short series, separated by tectiform collines. Costosepta generally compact, confluent or nonconfluent. Septal flanks have fine dentations, rounded granules, and small ?pennulae. Costae generally weakly developed or absent. Columella spongy-papillose or made of irregular segments. Synapticulae numerous. Wall parasynapticulothecal, incomplete. Endothecal dissepiments abundant. [details]
