A new species of Siboglinum is reported from the Vølring Plateau in the Norwegian Sea. It was dredged from c. 1280 m together with Nereilinum murmanicum originally sampled in the southern Barents Sea. In both species symbiotic bacteria were investigated by transmission electron microscopy.
