Ecology Specimen recovered from the stomach of the shrimp Pleoticus muelleri (Bate, 1888) in Argentina. [details]
Etymology This species is named in honor of Professor Dr. Volker Storch, Heidelberg (Germany). He once spent days looking for another scalidophoran, the priapulid Acanthopriapulus horridus, in the digestive tracts of bottom-feeding commercial fishes aboard a Uruguayan trawler in the company of the junior author.
