Comparison Unique in having a truly perforated theca. [details]
Diagnosis Corallum ceratoid, with a pointed base and circular in cross section; GCD less than 4.5 mm; theca perforate; costae granular, originating by trifurcation; septa hexamerally arranged in 3-4 cycles; one crown of 6 small P2; columella rudimentary/papillose. [details]
Remark This genus and family was monographed by Cairns (1997), which included a phylogenetic analysis based on morphology. Seven species, only two Recent, listed by Cairns (1997). [details]Unverified
