none, begins (in translation) "I now have the opportunity to publish the conclusions relating to the hirudíneos deposited in the Museum of La Plata, for which reason I thank to Head of the Department of Zoology (Invertebrates) of that Institute, Dr. Max Birabén, who has entrusted me with his study. it's a collection exclusively Argentine, in which 19 species are represented (up to now there were 28 of our hirudofauna), with 50 catalog numbers, according to the ordering and classification that I have made. The vast majority of the leeches were collected by Dr. Max Birabén in the course of his excursions or expeditions, and what is very interesting, many times in places far from the mentioned localities of the geographical dispersion of our hirudíneos. In this way, zoogeography of this class of annelids, as regards the Argentine species, it has been quite enriched"
