Etymology The prefix âWollunqua-â is inspired by a dragon name from Aborigine mythology. Wollunqua, also known as the Rainbow Serpent, was considered god of rain and fertility. The suffix â-deresâ (derived from the Ancient Greek δÎĎΡ = neck) is used in generic names of most cyclorhagid kinorhynchs. Gender of the genus name is masculine [details]
