Description Up to 10 cm long. Animals may vary in colour from brown or red to orange. Dorsal pattern of dark and light polygons and tubercles, with the larger polygons often outlined in white. The gills are located on the right side as a tuberculate, tapered cone, it lays white concertina-like egg masses. An acidic mucus can be secreted if disturbed. Habitat: eulittoral in seagrass beds. Distribution: W Indian Ocean, Red Sea to W Pacific Ocean. [details]
