Miura, Tomoyuki. (1987). New or little known species of the family Eunicidae (Annelida, Polychaeta) from Japan. Proceedings of the Japanese Society of Systematic Zoology. 36: 1-9.
Two new and one rare species are described: A new species of the genus Eunice, E. profunda, recorded from the depth of more than 900 m is closely related with E. kobiensis, but can be distinguished from it by the shape of compound falcigers; Eunice palauensis collected from the Bungo Channel differs from all other species of the genus by their symmetrically arranged maxillae; A new species of the genus Euniphysa, E. misakiensis, described on the specimen from near Misaki has black acicula and well developed branchiae, but no pseudocompound spinigers.
