Description Corals are circular, up to 30 cm in diameter, thick flat or strongly arched. Septal teeth are fine but clearly visible, coral spines are granular. The undersurface has pits between the costae. Colour: usually brown. Abundance: very common. (Veron, 1986 <57>) [details]
