Description Description: similar to M. longipeda (Richmond, 1998).
Arms moderately long, about nine times the disc diameter. Disc colour dark purplish or greyish or orange (the later ones in specimens found under dead coral ). Arms with a light line along the aboral midline of the arms, that is usually present on the tip of the arms only. Habitat: sometimes bear a commensal Polychaet or Gastropod (Balinsky, 1957).
