Nomenclature Combination created in Hartman Catalogue p. 131 for nomen nudum Chloenea pallida Kinberg (q.v. Aphia 340389). Unavailable name retained as a record in WoRMS to resolve an erroneous name published in the Hartman Catalogue. A nomen nudum cannot be assigned to another genus as (usually) nothing is known about it, and it is in any case unavailable to nomenclature. However, Hartman (1948: 38) appears to have examined Kinberg's museum specimen and assigns it as "presumably C. viridis", thus a synonym. "Questionably Chloeia viridis" according to Hartman (1959), but C. viridis is from Jamaica, whereas Chloenea pallida was from Brazil. [details]
