Diagnosis Original diagnosis by Zachs (1933: 130): "Пальны очень длинные, поперечно полосатые благодаря кольцевым отложениям черного пигмента (на темном поле мнкроскопа кажутся белыми), чередующимся с бесцветными участками. Такой же пнгмент выражен на нижней поверхности головы и по краям ротового отверстия. Голова удлиненно-коническая, спереди тупо закругленная без фронтальных отростков. Ширина тела равна 1 мм." (raw English translation: "The palps are very long, transversely striped due to annular deposits of black pigment (on the dark field of the microscope appear white), alternating with colorless areas. The same pigment is present on the lower surface of the head and along the edges of the oral opening. The head is elongate-conic, anteriorly obtuse rounded without frontal processes. The width of the body is 1 mm.") [details]

Synonymy Radashevsky (1993: 53) questionably synonymized Polydora (Carazzia) derjugini Zachs, 1933 with Pseudopolydora paucibranchiata (Okuda, 1937): "Polydora (Carazzia) derjugini Zachs (1933) from Peter the Great Bay appears to be placed in synonymy with P. paucibranchiata, but this is questionable, since the type material of P. derjugini is lost and the description, given by Zachs, is not adequate for specific determination.[details]
