Remark according to Thomas Glatzel, Institut für Biologie und Umweltwissenschaften Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg „Sars drawings of genital fields of Canuella fucigera, however, do not belong to this species. As proven in the present study, the genital fields presented by Sars belong to C. perplexa instead.“ see Glatzel, 1988 [details]
