Publication
The study of sub-recent ostracodes from the Tamandare Bay, Pernambuco State, Brazil, permitted the determination of an assemblage constituted by thirty genera and nineteen species and the record of indetermined taxa: two genera and twenty six species. Of the genera abundant in organic reefs and their associated environments, Loxocomiculum, Xestoleberis, and Kotoracythere, are also found here. On the other hand, Triebelina and Paranesidea, cited by other authors as characteristic of reefs, are very rare. This assemblage also allowed the recognizion of two biofacies that were compared with the foraminifer biofacies already defined for the same bay.
