Publication
The collection studied here consists of specimens gathered on Europa Island by the author. It consists of 55 species out of the 75 known on the island so far. 36 of the studied species had not yet been mentioned. Complete bibliographical information lacking, some specimens remains unidentified and will be studied in a complementary note. The biogeographical remarks show, besides 36 new species for Europa Island, the farthest south western extension known for the following species: Portunus convexus de Haan Carpilodes rugatus (H. Milne Edwards) Daira perlata (Herbst) Uca chlorophthalmus (H. Milne Edwards) Percnon abbreviatum (Dana). Fuller gatherings would make it possible to precise biogeographical characters of the fauna of the Stomatopoda and Decapoda Crustacea of Europa Island.
