Diagnosis Test elongate, early portion close coiled and planispiral, sutures radial and periphery rounded to carinate, later uncoiling, with chambers circular in section and sutures straight, horizontal and slightly depressed; wall calcareous, hyaline, perforate radial, surface with numerous longitudinal costae that may be slightly oblique on the sides but are straight and vertical on the ventral periphery, those of the coil may be broken into nodes at the sutures; aperture terminal, radiate, at the dorsal angle.
