Validity Saint-Loup, apart from referring to the size and colour of this form, which helisted as new, merely noted that it possessed the characters of a Lineus species; it is impossible to determine from his description whether or not there might be any synonymy between his form and Linens viridis (Müller, 1774) and Saint-Loup's taxon cannot be accepted as a valid species.
