Taxonomy Santodomingo & Becking (2018) have examined type material. Based on morphology, they suggest that C. albatridens, C....
Taxonomy Santodomingo & Becking (2018) have examined type material. Based on morphology, they suggest that C. albatridens, C. albaobtusa and a C. albabidens are junior synonyms of Cinachyrella porosa (Lendenfeld, 1888). However, based on the fact that C. porosa may be a species complex of at least 6 different potential species (Schuster et al., 2017), we refrain from accepting this synonymy until more genetic data can be gathered.
