Identification Hooper & Wiedenmayer (1994: 195 & 381) gave ambiguous synonymy suggestions for this combination. On p. 195 they mention that the combination is unrecognizable, but could be either a synonym of Sarcotragus myrobalanus or Coscinoderma pesleonis both Lamarck species, synonymy for both unfounded. On p. 381 they apparently decided it was more likely a junior synonym of C. pesleonis citing Topsent (1930) and Bergquist (1980) as sources. [details]
