Taxonomy Baker & Devaney (1981) regard this as Ophioceres, ignoring that Thomas (1975) had synonymized it. Molecular data (O'Hara pers. comm.) suggest that only the type species Ophioceres incipiens may perhaps be different but more data are needed. [details]
