Comparison Differs from Leptopsammia in having dentate septal margins and a nondiscrete columella. [details]

Diagnosis Corallum solitary, ceratoid to cylindrical, firmly attached; epitheca thin; septa arranged normally; all septal edges coarsely dentate; columella nondiscrete, spongy; azooxanthellate [details]

Remark This genus and family were monographed by Cairns (2001), which included a phylogenetic analysis based on morphology. Three species, none fossil. [details]
