Diagnosis Medusa umbrella globular, exumbrellar nematocyst tracks departing upwards from each marginal bulb; subumbrellar cavity in lower half of the umbrella; radial canals 4, linear; marginal bulbs 4, only one tentacle, trident-shaped, opposite marginal bulb with a knob, 2 remnant bulbs rudimentary, atentaculated; manubrium cruciform, mouth with four simple lips; gonads interradial on manubrium, extented over the whole manubrium except the perradial ridges.Hydroid unknown.
