In 1895 Sars notes the error on Page 221: Amphilochoides odontonyx. Remarks. - The species described under this name is not the Amphilochus odontonyx of Boeck, which is unquestionably that described farther down as A. pusillus. I propose for the present species the name of Amphilochoides Boeckii. The statements about the distribution should of course be transferred to the next species.
