Diagnosis Test in a low trochospiral to almost planispiral coil, robust, umbilical side involute and spiral side partially evolute and centrally umbonate, slightly depressed sutures gently curved on the spiral side, radial and straight on the umbilical side, periphery broadly rounded, peripheral outline slightly lobulate; wall calcareous, optically granular, coarsely perforate on the umbilical side, the pores becoming larger and conical in form with the addition of successive lamellae, spiral side smooth and more sparsely perforate and may have an imperforate peripheral band; aperture a low interiomarginal and equatorial slit extending nearly to the umbilicus on the umbilical side, bordered by a narrow lip.
