Original description Test free, calcareous, trochoid, planoconvex, coneshaped; periphery nonlobulate, narrowly carinate, subacute; wall opaque with a matte finish, colorless, prominently perforate; dorsal side convex, evolute, about two whorls of noninflated, sublunate chambers gradually increasing in size; sutures dorsally radial to curved slightly, depressed, limbate, confluent with limbate periphery; ventral side almost flat with last formed chamber larger, somewhat inflated and elevated; chambers tapering into a point centrally covering umbilical area; no umbilical plug or reentrants visible; sutures ventrally radiate, slightly depressed; primary aperture interiomarginal at base of final chamber.
