It being noted as a "...nouveau genre établi dans la famille des Brachiopodes, sur l' Anomia detruncata, Gmel., que l'auteur regarde comme intermédiaire entre les Térébratules, les Deltyris et les Thécidées", i.e., using Anomia detruncata Gmelin as the type for this new genus.
