Reproduction found all across Canada from Newfoundland to eastern British Columbia and south to Florida and northern Mexico. Nests are usually placed in a tree either coniferous or deciduous but in treeless areas it may be placed on the ground (Tantramar marsh as for example). Prefers to nest in thickets and scattered trees rather than in deep forests. Eggs are laid between mid April and early June. [details]
